Aging is no longer a mystery encoded in your DNA — it’s a puzzle shaped by your daily choices. Tally Health™, co-founded by renowned longevity scientist Dr. David Sinclair, is on a mission to redefine how we understand aging — and how we slow it down. With a simple cheek swab and groundbreaking epigenetic testing, Tally empowers people to unlock their biological age and transform their health with actionable, science-backed strategies. But as revolutionary as the product was, the digital experience didn’t match the innovation. That’s where we came in.

The Challenge

Tally Health™ introduced an innovative approach to monitoring aging at the cellular level, yet early discovery revealed key friction points hindering user engagement. Many users between the ages of 40 and 70 struggled to understand the product’s value and how the membership functioned, highlighting a gap in clarity and relevance. Additionally, the website’s structure and messaging failed to effectively convey the interconnected roles of TallyAge testing,

coaching, and supplements, leaving users uncertain about how the pieces fit together. Compounding this, the order journey lacked the emotional resonance and persuasive clarity needed to inspire trust and drive conversions. To address these challenges, our goal became clear: craft a seamless, credible, and emotionally engaging experience that demystifies the science, highlights the value, and empowers users to take proactive steps toward healthier aging.

Research & Insights

Through usability tests and interviews, we uncovered that while users were drawn to the science behind Tally Health, they often felt overwhelmed by the terminology and unsure about what exactly they would receive and when. A key insight was the importance of trust—users wanted full transparency regarding pricing, the testing process, and the science powering it all. These findings led us to several design opportunities: we clarified the messaging around TallyAge and the testing timeline, restructured the site to clearly highlight membership benefits and user testimonials, and refined the language to strike the right balance between scientific credibility and everyday clarity.
