Measure your GDPR maturity
What's GDPR?
Since May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation reinforces and expands the spectrum of personal data protection measures to be implemented by companies and their partners. It’s a legal framework that sets out guidelines on how to collect and process personal information within the European Union. GDPR affects all companies that do business in the EU, and it will particularly affect companies that process data digitally such as websites and apps. The new legislation affects not just how we should handle user’s data; it also has a direct impact on how we design user interfaces. This project aims to help companies to comply with GDPR by offering a toolbox and personalized advice.

An Encrypted Graphic Language
Sokey is a project of the Société Générale, a French bank which is one of the leading players in the field of personal data processing. The timeless and straightforward lettering is based on the Avenir Next font to obtain straight lines, guaranteeing simplicity and stability. Bold and isometric illustrations help to explain complex subjects visually. Rectangular shapes are intended to translate a coded language,
like walrus highlights the idea of confidentiality and encrypted messages and, therefore, security. The photography choices accentuate this private atmosphere with blurred foregrounds and intimate scenes taken from daily life. Sokey uses the Société Générale colours to mark its membership in the group while maintaining its own identity.
